Client had moved into the building 2 years prior. Amid expansion and building reorganization, they worked to get their manufacturing and warehousing in an optimal flow. Timing was right to consider a lighting upgrade.

RPG Solution: RPG performed an energy audit and applied for a rebate with National Grid. The project fell under the parameters for the small business program due to the use of mostly small tools and equipment beside the lighting. The project would call for all new LED highbay fixtures to replace T8 and metal halide fixtures. All low bay and office lighting would be upgraded to LED as well as exterior roadway, parking lot and building wallpack fixtures.

Results: Based on a Utility reviewed proposal, it was estimated that Source International would save 186,800 kwh and $27,000 annually. National Grid also provided a rebate of $74,720.00 toward the project.
